Dried apples - are they good for a diabetic renal dialysis patient? Dietitian comment: Yes dried apple is acceptable but watch the portion because dried fruit is concentrated in carbs and potassium. !/2 cup dried apple pieces is equivalent to one medium apple.

I made this salad several days ago and I wanted to share how delicious my husband thought it was (even leftovers). It was light and fresh. I used honey crisp apples and fresh lemon juice. So good!
